Frequently Asked Questions
Is the DTF sample pack completely free?
Yes. DTF Dallas sends first-time customers 4 DTF transfers and 1 UV DTF transfer at no cost, with free shipping when the pack is ordered on its own.
What is included in the free DTF sample pack?
Each DTF Dallas free sample pack includes 4 ready-to-press DTF transfers for apparel and 1 UV DTF transfer for smooth hard surfaces such as glass, metal and ceramic. DTF Dallas selects the designs and sizes according to the month's theme. Order your pack to see this month's designs.
Do I upload my own design?
No. DTF Dallas selects pre-made, ready-to-press designs according to the month's theme, so no artwork upload is needed for the free sample pack. To print your own artwork, order custom DTF transfers by size.
Can I add the sample pack to another order?
Yes, to a custom apparel or blank apparel order. DTF Dallas applies apparel shipping rates when the free sample pack is added to an apparel order. The pack cannot be combined with DTF products, including DTF transfers, gang sheets, ready-to-press designs and UV DTF transfers, so place those orders separately.
Do I need a heat press to use the samples?
Yes, for the 4 DTF transfers. DTF Dallas recommends pressing them at 290 to 310°F with medium to high pressure, while the UV DTF transfer needs only firm squeegee pressure and no heat. Start with one test press before pressing a full order.
How fast does the free sample pack ship?
Free sample pack orders placed by 2:00 PM Central Time (CT), Monday through Saturday, ship the same day and arrive within one to two business days, with two business days as the guaranteed maximum. If UPS Ground cannot meet this delivery window, DTF Dallas upgrades the shipment to air at its own cost. Carrier and weather-related delays are excluded from the guarantee.
Can I pick up my free sample pack?
Yes. The main DTF Dallas production facility is located at 801 Alpha Dr, Ste 112, Richardson, TX 75081. Additional pickup locations are available in Argyle, Carrollton, Lucas, Mesquite, and Oak Cliff. More information is available on the pickup location page.
