How to Apply UV DTF Stickers, No Heat Press Needed
UV DTF application is pressure based. Do not apply heat at any step.
Clean and Dry
Wipe the surface with a damp cloth to remove dust, grease and fingerprints, then dry it fully with a paper towel.
Pre-Squeegee and Peel
Cut your decal from the sheet, squeegee it firmly 2 to 4 times face down, then slowly peel the design with the clear carrier away from the white backing. If an element stays behind, squeegee again and peel from a different angle.
Position and Press
Place small decals with both hands. Lay larger designs down from one edge across to avoid bubbles, then squeegee the whole design firmly from the center outward.
Remove the Carrier
Peel the clear film back slowly at an angle, watching that every element stays on the surface. Re-squeegee any lifting edge before continuing.
Care and Durability
Applied and cared for correctly, UV DTF decals hold up to regular daily handling. To keep your designs looking their best:
- Hand wash items with UV DTF designs using mild soap and a soft sponge
- Do not soak decorated items for extended periods
- Skip harsh chemicals, bleach, scouring pads and steel wool
- Keep decorated glass and ceramic out of the microwave and dishwasher
- Store unused transfers flat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
