Cotton totes use lighter fabric, like the 6 oz DTF Dallas TB100, so they cost less and fold flat for giveaways. Canvas totes use heavier fabric, like the 12 oz TB200, TG200 and TG260, so they hold their shape, carry more weight and give transfers a firmer print surface.
Ounces measure fabric weight. A higher number means thicker, sturdier fabric: DTF Dallas carries 6 oz cotton totes for promos, 10 oz canvas minis and 12 oz heavy canvas totes for everyday and heavy-duty use.
A gusset is extra fabric at the bottom or sides that lets the bag expand and stand up. DTF Dallas totes like the TG200 and TG110 have a 3 in bottom gusset, while the TG260 and RJ260 have a 5 in gusset for bigger loads. Flat totes like the TB100 and TB200 have none.
