Why Use DTF Transfers for Custom Apparel?
A DTF transfer is a design printed onto film and backed with heat-activated adhesive. It arrives ready to press onto a garment, so you only need a heat press to apply the transfer.
DTF Dallas transfers arrive cured and ready to press. You do not need a DTF printer, ink, film, adhesive powder, weeding, or garment pre-treatment.
When properly applied and cared for, DTF Dallas transfers have been tested to withstand 100+ washes. Actual lifespan can vary depending on garment type, application accuracy, washing routine, drying temperature, abrasion, and frequency of use.
DTF Transfer Application
Press at 290–310°F with medium to high pressure for 8–15 seconds, then hot peel.
Because garment and fabric materials can vary, we recommend testing a sample before beginning large or bulk production.
Artwork & File Preparation
For the best print quality, we recommend transparent PNG files at 300 DPI. PDF files are also accepted. CMYK color settings are recommended to help reduce potential color differences that can occur with RGB files.
We strongly recommend transparent backgrounds. Any white or colored background left in your file will print as part of the design, so remove unwanted background areas before uploading.
You do not need to mirror your artwork before uploading. Submit your design in its normal, readable orientation.
Quality Control
Our production team reviews your artwork for print readiness, checks quality during production, and inspects finished transfers before packing. Files are printed as submitted, so please review your artwork carefully before uploading.
