Three Ways to Place Your DTF Order
DTF Dallas gives you three ordering paths depending on your project. Choose the one that fits what you need. Eligible orders placed by 2:00 PM CT, Monday through Saturday, ship the same day.
Order DTF Transfers by Size
Pick a standard size, upload your PNG file, enter your quantity, and check out. Transfers by size are priced individually based on dimensions - the fastest way to order a specific design in a specific size without building a full sheet. Ideal for boutique restocks, testing new artwork, or low-quantity runs where you want to control exactly what size lands on the garment.
Build a Custom DTF Gang Sheet
A gang sheet lets you nest multiple designs side by side on a single roll of DTF film. Gang sheets are available up to 22 inches wide and 1,000 inches long. You only pay for the square footage your designs actually use - the most cost-efficient way to run custom artwork in bulk. Use the drag-and-drop builder to arrange designs from scratch, or upload a pre-built sheet file directly if your layout is already ready to print.
Browse Ready-to-Press Designs
Not every DTF order starts with a custom file. DTF Dallas maintains a growing library of pre-made ready-to-press DTF transfers organized by holiday, season, school theme, sports, animals, family, and more. Every design is printed and ready to heat press the moment it arrives. No upload, no artwork approval, and no waiting on proofs.
How to Place a DTF Order Step by Step
Every DTF order with DTF Dallas follows the same four-step process regardless of which ordering path you choose.
Prepare Your Artwork File
Your file needs to be ready before you upload. DTF printing does not require a white layer in your file - the printer automatically generates white ink underneath your colors. Check that your artwork meets these requirements to help support faster production and consistent results:
- File format: We recommend a PNG with a transparent background. PDF files are also accepted.
- Resolution: 300 DPI recommended at print size for the best print quality.
- Color mode: CMYK recommended to reduce potential color differences that can occur with RGB files.
- No white layer: Do not add a white base layer. The DTF handles white automatically.
- No mirroring: Submit your design in its normal, readable orientation, and we'll handle the printing setup.
- Max file size: 500 MB per file upload.
Choose Your Order Type and Size
Navigate to the product that matches your order type: Transfers by Size for individual sized transfers, the Gang Sheet Builder to create a custom layout, or the Gang Sheets upload page if you have a pre-built file.
- Select your size or enter your sheet dimensions
- Set your quantity - no minimum order requirement on any product
- Price calculates in real time before checkout
- Gang sheets are available up to 22 inches wide and 1,000 inches long - for pre-built sheet uploads, we recommend uploading longer runs in parts, max 22 x 250 inches per file
Upload Your File and Check Out
Upload your PNG file directly on the product page using the file upload field. Review your order summary to confirm the size, quantity, and price. Then check out securely through the Shopify payment page. Files are printed as submitted, so please review your artwork carefully before uploading.
- File upload directly on the product page
- Instant order confirmation email after checkout
- Secure Shopify checkout with all major payment methods
- DTF and UV DTF orders of $100 or more qualify for free ground shipping. Custom apparel orders of $100 or more and blank apparel orders of $250 or more qualify for free shipping. Shipping rates for orders that don’t meet these thresholds, as well as supplies and DTF extras, are calculated at checkout based on your location and order details.
- DTF and UV DTF orders under $100 ship at a $9.95 flat rate for ground shipping

How to Apply Your DTF Transfers
DTF Dallas transfers arrive cured and ready to press, with no garment pre-treatment or weeding required. For gang sheets, separate the individual designs before pressing. The white underbase is printed automatically so your colors pop on any fabric color.
Since fabric and garment materials can vary, we recommend testing a sample before beginning large or bulk production. Need blanks to press onto? DTF Dallas carries wholesale blank t-shirts, hoodies, caps, and tote bags in the same place.

Want Finished Apparel Instead of Transfers?
If you would rather receive a finished, pressed garment instead of placing a DTF transfer order yourself, DTF Dallas also prints and ships custom t-shirts, custom sweatshirts and hoodies, and other custom apparel with your design already applied. Visit the Custom Apparel page to explore finished garment options.
