DTF transfers are designed to resist cracking, fading, and peeling when applied and cared for properly. Print durability depends on the fabric, heat press settings, application technique, and washing conditions. For best results, follow our pressing instructions, wash garments inside out in cold water, and tumble dry on low heat. Read our DTF wash-test results for more information about tested performance.
A DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfer is a full-color design printed onto special film and prepared for heat application to fabric. DTF Dallas transfers arrive cured and ready to press, so you do not need a DTF printer, ink, adhesive powder, or garment pre-treatment. They work on many common apparel fabrics, including cotton, polyester, and blends. We use CMYK plus white ink to produce detailed designs on compatible light and dark garments.
