Background
A white or colored box prints around my design
Cause: The file still has a background. Any white or colored background left in the file prints as part of the design.
Fix: Remove the background and export a transparent PNG before uploading.
Resolution
The print looks blurry or pixelated
Cause: A small or low-resolution image was enlarged to print size.
Fix: Use artwork at 300 DPI at the actual print size, or upload a PDF or larger original file.
Color
Printed colors look different from my screen
Cause: Screens display RGB, and some bright RGB colors cannot be matched exactly in print.
Fix: Use CMYK color settings to reduce potential color differences.
Small Text
Names or numbers are hard to read on the youth tee
Cause: Long text lines and thin fonts shrink on a smaller youth chest, especially on size S.
Fix: Keep text short, use bold fonts, and trim empty space around the artwork so the design fills the print area.
Heather Colors
Light ink looks tinted on a dark heather tee
Cause: Solid 3001Y colors are 100% cotton, but heather colors contain polyester, and polyester dye can migrate into light ink under heat on some dark heathers.
Fix: Our team checks dark heather orders during production. For large runs in a dark heather, ask us about a test shirt first.
Wash Care
How do I keep the print looking new?
Cause: High heat is the most common cause of print wear. Hot water or a high dryer setting stresses the print layer.
Fix: Wash cold, inside out, and tumble dry low. The fabric is pre-shrunk, but hot wash and high-heat drying can cause extra shrinkage.

Is there a minimum order for custom youth t-shirts?
No. DTF Dallas has no minimum order on custom Bella + Canvas 3001Y youth tees. Order one personalized youth shirt or a full size run for your school, team, or camp in the same checkout.
How fast do custom youth tee orders ship?
