Garment dyeing is done in batches after sewing, so slight shade variation between pieces and dye lots is normal and expected.
For large uniform orders, request pieces from the same dye lot. Set customer expectations that slight variation is part of the vintage garment-dyed character.
The SHGDC has a cropped body length of 18 to 18.5 inches, so a full-size chest graphic sized for a standard tee will run off the hem.
Scale artwork down and raise the placement toward the chest. Left-chest, small center-chest, and sleeve prints suit the cropped panel best.
Pigment garment-dyed pieces can release a little excess dye in the first few washes, especially darker colors like Black and Mocha.
Advise customers to wash cold with similar colors for the first few washes and dry on low. This is normal for garment-dyed apparel.
