Background
A white or colored box prints around my logo
Cause: The file still has a background. Any white or colored background left in the file prints as part of the design.
Fix: Remove the background and export a transparent PNG before uploading.
Resolution
The print looks blurry or pixelated
Cause: A small or low-resolution image was enlarged to print size.
Fix: Use artwork at 300 DPI, or upload a PDF or larger original file.
Color
Printed colors look different from my screen
Cause: Screens display RGB, and some bright RGB colors cannot be matched exactly in print.
Fix: Use CMYK color settings to reduce potential color differences.
Detail
Small text is hard to read on the cap
Cause: A full-size shirt design shrunk down to fit a cap front loses fine detail.
Fix: Use a simplified logo or short text with bold lines for cap orders.
Contrast
My logo blends into the cap color
Cause: The artwork colors are too close to the foam front color.
Fix: Choose a contrasting front color, or a two-tone colorway with a white front for dark artwork.
Care
How do I keep my cap looking new?
