What Is a UV DTF Transfer?
UV DTF transfers are printed designs made for application to compatible hard surfaces. Unlike standard DTF transfers, which are designed for garments and applied with a heat press, UV DTF transfers are applied to compatible hard surfaces without heat.
Standard fabric DTF transfers use a heat press at 290–310°F for 8–15 seconds, then hot peel. Follow the application guide for pressure and garment-specific adjustments.
UV DTF is a practical option for decorating compatible hard-surface products without requiring a heat press.

UV DTF Care
UV prints are water-resistant. Handwashing is recommended instead of dishwashing to help maintain their durability.
Because materials and finishes can vary, we recommend testing a sample on the intended surface before beginning large or bulk production.
Artwork & File Preparation
For the best print quality, we recommend transparent PNG files at 300 DPI. PDF files are also accepted. We recommend using CMYK color settings to help reduce potential color differences that can occur with RGB files.
We strongly recommend transparent backgrounds. Any white or colored background left in the file will print as part of the design, so remove unwanted background areas before uploading.
You do not need to mirror your artwork before uploading. Submit your design in its normal, readable orientation.
Quality Control
Our production team reviews your artwork for print readiness, checks quality during production, and inspects finished transfers before packing. Files are printed as submitted, so please review your artwork carefully before uploading.

Same-Day Shipping
Print-ready DTF and UV DTF orders placed before 2:00 PM CT, Monday through Saturday, ship the same day.
Eligible orders arrive within one to two business days, with two business days as the guaranteed maximum. The delivery window begins when the print-ready order is placed. If UPS Ground cannot meet the delivery window, DTF Dallas upgrades the shipment to air shipping at its own cost. Only carrier- and weather-related delays are excluded.
